What are 2024’s Best Energy Vapes with No Nicotine?

Are you looking for a vape that provides a boost of energy, but don't want nasty nicotine piggybacking along? You're not alone. Nicotine-free energy vapes are becoming more and more popular among people who want the benefits of a functional vape, but don't want the harmful (and addictive) effects of nicotine.

A nicotine-free energy vape will generally take one of two forms — a nicotine-free caffeine vape, or a nicotine-free B12 vape (more on this distinction down below).

Whichever you’re looking for, we've got you covered! Let's take a look at some of the best vapes that provide some get-up-and-go without nicotine. (As an aside, if you’re searching for energy vapes to help you quit smoking, check out our articles on 4 Best Vapes to Quit Smoking and Best Inhalers to Stop Smoking.)

Best No-Nicotine Energy Vape Overall: HELO

single box of HELO Air in Gush flavor

The cream of the “caffeine vapes no nicotine” crop, every HELO diffuser features a premium blend of natural caffeine and a variety of natural, organic flavors, to provide a caffeine boost that tastes great, too.

Dubbed "Zeus's oxygen," HELO's line of disposables has garnered hundreds of 5-star reviews from customers who praise its "great taste," saying it "gives great energy" that "keeps [you] awake and focused," all with zero nicotine, and no harmful chemicals like Vitamin E Acetate. It could be the safest vape when you’re looking for a no nicotine energy boost.

HELO comes in two sizes for nicotine-free vaping — Air and Plus. Each Air disposable diffuser should last for around 400 inhales, while each Plus should be good for around 800. It comes in a wide variety of popular flavors, including Strawberry Ice, Caramel Coffee, Tropic Slush, Baja Berry and more.

Best B12 Vape: HealthVape

Whereas HELO gets its energy from caffeine, HealthVape adds Vitamin B12 to the mix, with one variety of its energy vape line featuring B12 with caffeine (dubbed Energy), and one featuring B12 alone (called Boost). Let's talk about Boost first.

Combining Vitamins B12 and B6, along with amino acids L-Theanine, L-Lysine and Taurine, HealthVape's Boost is available in two flavors — Berry Mint and Strawberry.

The Energy blend puts caffeine front-and-center, though you'll find B12, L-Theanine and L-Carvone in the formulation as well. Energy is available in two rather straightforward flavors — Citrus and Cinnamon.

Like HealthVape's other offerings, Boost and Energy are available as either disposable pens or pods. You should be able to get around 200 inhales from each 1 ml pod, and around 450-500 inhales from each disposable.

Overall, HealthVape is one of the best nicotine free vape brands on the list.

Best "Combo Pack" Offer: Luvv Labs

combo pack of Luvv Vapes with Vitamin C, Caffeine, and Vitamin B12 formulations

The Energy Combo Pack from Luvv Labs gets you three different vape formulations — Wake, with caffeine; Rise, with Vitamin B12; and Vita, with Vitamin C.

While only Wake is a true "energy vape" (see the section on caffeine vs. Vitamin B12 below for an explanation), Vita and Rise can certainly give a long-term boost to your overall energy levels.

Wake, available in Mandarin Orange flavor, is infused with caffeine, Vitamin B12, L-Theanine and L-Carvone. Rise, available in Berry/Mint, contains Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, L-Theanine, L-Lysine and Vegan-Friendly Taurine; and Vita, which comes in Minty Citrus flavor, is packed with a unique blend of Vitamins C, D3, B12 and A, as well as Co-Enzyme Q10.

Each one is available as both a disposable (650-700 puffs) and pods (about 200 puffs each).

Best Mild Energy Boost: Solstice

boxes of five flavors of Solstice Vapes

As Solstice points out, the typical cup of coffee contains around 100 mg of caffeine, which makes the 40 mg of caffeine you'll get from each puff of a Solstice vape mild in comparison.

That's why we're choosing it as a good bet for people who want a small kick to get started, but maybe not the full-on effect of a more potent energy vape.

In terms of the full ingredient list, it's pretty standard for an energy vape, though of course some of the flavors are unique. It includes propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, white lemon oil extract, yellow lemon oil extract, maltol, menthol, guarana berry, cranberry extract and caffeine.

Solstice comes in five flavors — Cool Mint Frost, Pink Lemonade Frost, Blue Raspberry Frost, Menthol Ice and Watermelon Frost — and should be good for around 400 inhales.

All-Around Honorable Mention: VitaBar

box of VitaBar Energy Vape

A newer entry to the energy vape landscape, VitaBar doesn't necessarily excel at any one thing, but their line of no-nicotine energy vapes still deserves a mention on this list.

VitaBar has three vapes as part of their "Energize" line — Energy, Boost and Vital. Energy is the one we're focusing on here. Caffeine is the main ingredient, although you'll also find Vitamin B12, L-Carvone and L-Theanine.

The Energy formulation comes in one flavor — Citrus, and should last for around 450-500 puffs.

A Note About Caffeine vs. Vitamin B12 as an Energy Source

We've written about this topic a number of times, but it bears repeating. When comparing energy vapes, you'll find that most fall into one of two categories — vapes that use caffeine as their preferred energy source, and vapes that use B12.

There's some misinformation out there about the role of Vitamin B12 in your body. Many people believe that it's similar to caffeine in its ability to provide an immediate energy boost.

To put it simply, B12 doesn't do that. What B12 does do is supply your body with nutrients it needs to perform vital functions, like make DNA — the "program" that's in every cell of your body. It also plays a role in keeping your nerve and blood cells healthy.

But unless you're severely deficient in it, taking B12 as a supplement (or inhaling it from a vape) probably won't do much to boost your energy the way caffeine does. It may play a role in giving you more vitality over the long haul, which is why we're including B12 vapes here at all. We just want to make sure you're aware of its limitations.

Power Up with Energy Vapes … no Nicotine!

There you have it! Five options for no-nicotine energy vapes when you're in need of a quick pick-me-up. When choosing the one that's right for you, pay attention to the main ingredient (is it B12 or is it caffeine?), because the two main energy sources are not the same or interchangeable.

Outside of that caveat, you can't go wrong with any of the options on our list. All of the selections here can be ordered from their company websites, and some might be available in retail stores near you (see our article on Where to Buy Nicotine-Free Vapes for more on that). But for the best all-around energy vape, give HELO a try.

Power up!
